Our Practice

Southwest Back Clinic is a family based office focusing on the wellness of everyBODY we
encounter. We understand the importance of a properly functioning nervous system to overall
health and it’s our passion to help create healthy individuals and families. We place an
extremely high value on getting to know every individual and family that we have the pleasure
of serving. We understand that no two individuals are the same so we do not take a cookie-
cutter approach to the care we deliver in our office. We individualize our approach to your
specific needs every time you come see us.
We do not put our practice members on treatment plans. While it is no secret that we know a
whole lot about your body, we will never know it better than you. You will never hear us say
that you need to come see us two or three times a week for a certain period of time. We
believe that by letting you know exactly what is going on with your body that you will do what
is best for you, your schedule, and your budget.
In order to make our services affordable for ALL individuals and families, we do not file the care
you receive in our office to insurance. This allows us to keep our costs low and pass those
savings directly on to you.
Our promise to you is to deliver the most effective and attentive chiropractic and wellness care
that we possibly can. We are always looking for ways to better serve our family here at
Southwest Back Clinic. We welcome all feedback on how we may better serve you!

About Care

Active Release Technique (ART)

ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/ movement based technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.  People tend to overuse muscles.  This causes the body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area.  This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely.  As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons causes tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped.  This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain.  If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling, numbness, and weakness.  During the course of treatment, Dr. Jones will focus on breaking up the scar tissue and adhesions within very specific muscles.  She will also focus on lengthening and strengthening the muscle.

Workers Compensation

Southwest Back Clinic offers an individualized workers' compensation program to safely rehabilitate employees so they can return to work.  We'll coordinate care and communicate with all parties to help ensure a successful return to work.  We are compassionate, highly skilled and the clinic has a tremendous amount of experience with Work Comp.  At Southwest Back Clinic, the injured worker is similar to the injured athlete; only the playing field is different. Our dedicated team works with all involved parties to ensure appropriate case management and successful return to work. We have a variety of services that address the needs of the injured worker.  With a focus on the use of free weights, specialized machines, and functional activity designed to simulate the work environment in which the patient is striving to return, this truly unique program is designed to increase strength, endurance and cardiovascular function.

Sports Injuries

Sports injuries can be debilitating and require immediate medical attention. Chiropractic care is an effective form of treatment for sports injuries and can help you get back to your normal activities as quickly as possible. Chiropractors are trained to diagnose, treat, and prevent musculoskeletal disorders, such as those caused by sports injuries. They use a variety of techniques such as manual manipulation, massage therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and lifestyle advice to help you heal from your injury. Seeking chiropractic care for sports injuries can help reduce pain, improve mobility and flexibility, decrease recovery time after an injury, and prevent future injury or re-injury.

Personal Injury

Personal injury can be a devastating experience, both physically and emotionally. When it comes to recovery, chiropractic care is one of the most effective forms of treatment. It can help reduce pain, improve mobility and increase range of motion. It also helps restore balance in the body and promote overall health and wellbeing.

Chiropractic care offers many benefits for those suffering from personal injuries. It can help relieve pain associated with muscle spasms, joint dysfunction, headaches, neck pain, back pain and more. It also helps improve posture and range of motion while promoting healing from injuries like whiplash or carpal tunnel syndrome. Additionally, chiropractic care can help reduce stress levels by improving sleep quality and reducing inflammation throughout the body.

Chiropratic Care While Pregnant

Seeking chiropractic care while pregnant has many benefits. It can help to reduce back pain, improve posture, realign the spine, and increase flexibility in the joints. It can also help to reduce stress levels and improve overall health during pregnancy. Additionally, it can help to prepare the body for labor by helping the pelvis align correctly in preparation for delivery.

Chiropratic Care for Children and Infants

Chiropractic care is an important part of holistic health care for children and infants. It can help to improve overall physical and emotional health, as well as provide relief from common childhood ailments such as colic, ear infections, asthma and allergies. Chiropractic care is a safe and non-invasive way to help children and infants with their physical development. It can also help to reduce stress levels, improve sleep quality and even improve mental clarity.
