Southwest Back Clinic offers services to the injured worker on a daily basis.  We can provide you with a treating doctor or evaluate your chronic case when needed.  We have a doctor that is certified by the State of Texas as a Designated Doctor and can perform Maximum Medical Impairment as well as Impairment Rating evaluations (MMI, IR).  The clinic offers work hardening and pain management programs for the injured employee to address functional deficits that prevent them from returning to work.

ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/ movement based technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.  People tend to overuse muscles.  This causes the body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area.  This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely.  As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons causes tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped.  This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain.  If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling, numbness, and weakness.  During the course of treatment, Dr. Jones will focus on breaking up the scar tissue and adhesions within very specific muscles.  She will also focus on lengthening and strengthening the muscle.
